Your child is known by name. Children learn in small, mixed-age groups, and instructors know how each child learns, where they are strong and what they are working on this week.
The week is a real academic week. Math and language arts happen every day, and science, history and geography, Koine Greek and the arts are built around them. Children read real books, write by hand and learn with hands-on Montessori materials in the early grades.

A week in the 5-Day Core program
Monday through Friday, 8:55 to 3:00, in groups of about eight.
Koine Greek runs Monday through Thursday. Lunch is at the park next door, where children eat together and play at recess.
Tuition
- $8,000 a year, paid as $800 a month over ten months.
- Paying by semester saves 3%, and paying for the year saves 10%.
- Service Membership lowers the monthly rate to $725 for families who give 4 to 5 hours of service a month.
- The registration fee is $150 per family each year, paid with the application.
Families using a homeschool charter may apply charter funds to Wednesday through Friday instruction, and your family pays the rest of the tuition. On the call, we'll work out exactly what your family would pay.
Charter funding may be applied to Wednesday–Friday instructional days only. Math and Language Arts instruction is not included in charter-funded services. All charter-funded instruction is secular in nature.
How enrolling works

Visit with your child. See the rooms and the materials, meet the instructors, and ask your questions in person.

Apply. The application takes about 15 minutes and includes the $150 registration fee, once per family each year.

Start. Enrollment is rolling, so a family who is ready can start during the year.
Most families also file California's Private School Affidavit, a short online form. We walk you through every question.

- No. Meadow View Learning is a faith-based nonprofit tutorial center serving families who independently homeschool under California's Private School Affidavit (PSA) law or through charter school programs. We provide weekday instructional support in a community-based environment. Meadow View Learning is an educational program and learning community, not a school of record. Families retain responsibility for their child's primary education.
