About Meadow View
A learning community built by families, for families
Meadow View Learning is a volunteer-founded Christian educational nonprofit learning community that partners with families to provide strong academics, character formation, and life skills through structured, in-person programming.
Meadow View has been serving families since 2022, and became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2025.
Academic Excellence
Strong expectations, guided instruction, and steady progress monitoring, with real emphasis on critical thinking, problem-solving, and strong work habits — building academic foundations, real-world skills, and confidence that prepare a student for college, work, and life.
Character & Virtue Development
Rooted in Christian principles, we cultivate a community of integrity, kindness, accountability, and stewardship — virtues are practiced daily in our classroom communities.
Creativity, Movement & Nature
Hands-on projects, the arts, outdoor time, and real-world experiences beyond the desk. From seasonal celebrations to field trips and collaborative projects, we make space for laughter, friendship, and fun.
Who we serve
We serve students ages 7–18 (grades 2–12), offering educational programs for families seeking a consistent, guided learning environment rooted in Christian values. Meadow View Learning is designed for families who:
- Desire character formation alongside academics
- Value structure, consistency, and accountability
- Are committed to supporting their student's regular engagement with our learning community
- Seek a collaborative partnership with educators
- Value a screen-free / low-screen-time environment
Our programs are not a fit for families seeking drop-in programming, fully child-directed learning, or minimal expectations.

Our educational approach

Our program blends Montessori principles with a classical academic foundation. Instruction is guided, responsive to student understanding, and designed to support both skill development and deep comprehension. We use a combination of review, practice, targeted mastery, hands-on learning, and project-based work to help students apply what they are learning while building strong foundations across subjects.
Students participate in class presentations, skits, showcases for parents, field trips, classroom market day, and so much more — with real books and real conversation at the center of the day. With intentionally small cohorts, each student receives personal support, meaningful feedback, and mentorship that is personalized to each learner.
Elementary students experience a screen-free environment as they develop life-long skills in reading, writing, teamwork, communication, and much more. Older students are supported in pursuing their interests as they explore S.T.E.M. topics, the arts, and challenging academics, using technology purposefully in specific programs such as our Engineering & Design Lab. Older students may also serve as mentors for younger students.
Why mixed-age groups?
When children of different ages are together in one room, the younger kids have the opportunity to learn from the older ones. Often kids learn best from one another, and when a 7-year-old watches a 9-year-old work, they quickly understand what is expected and what kind of work lies ahead in their future. In this environment the older children have many opportunities to serve in leadership roles, cultivating skills that are critical as they become independent members of their communities.

We also integrate character formation into our learning approach as students are guided in learning and practicing virtues daily.
Our role — and yours
Families remain legally responsible for their child's education, and Meadow View Learning functions as a partner through structured educational programming, instruction, and community life.
Meadow View Learning is an educational program and learning community, not a school of record. Families retain responsibility for their child's primary education.
Our role is to support families who desire consistency, accountability, and formation within a wholesome learning environment.
Our mission
"At Meadow View Learning, we nurture academic excellence, character, and integrity while inspiring a lifelong love of learning and essential life skills."
