How children learn here

Children in the early grades learn with Montessori materials they can hold and move. As they grow, the work becomes more classical: real books, careful writing and discussion.

Each child follows an individual learning plan within a set scope and sequence, so they move ahead when they are ready and get help when they need it.

Children learn in mixed-age groups, so younger students learn from older ones and older students practice explaining what they know. Instruction in the elementary years is screen-free.

A Christian community

Each morning opens with group time and prayer, and each week has a virtue the children practice and notice in each other. Families from many church backgrounds are part of the community.

Meadow View Learning is at 4750 Rocklin Road, Suite 200, in Rocklin, a short drive from Roseville, Loomis and Granite Bay.

Tuition

  • $8,000 a year, paid as $800 a month over ten months.
  • Paying by semester saves 3%, and paying for the year saves 10%.
  • Service Membership lowers the monthly rate to $725 for families who give 4 to 5 hours of service a month.
  • The registration fee is $150 per family each year, paid with the application.

Families using a homeschool charter may apply charter funds to Wednesday through Friday instruction, and your family pays the rest of the tuition. On the call, we'll work out exactly what your family would pay.

Charter funding may be applied to Wednesday–Friday instructional days only. Math and Language Arts instruction is not included in charter-funded services. All charter-funded instruction is secular in nature.
