A day in the program moves from guided instruction in the morning to hands-on and project work in the afternoon, covering science, social studies, PE, life skills, and the arts in a mixed-age group of about eight students. The whole community, grades 2 through 12, is capped at 35 students, so the room your child sits in stays small no matter which day it is.
The program does not include Math or Language Arts instruction. It pairs well with families who are already teaching those subjects at home or through another provider.
